I was born in Australia and grew up between Hong Kong and Singapore.
All in all I’ve moved over 30 times and spent a year of my life living in hotels, just like my childhood heroine – Eloise at the Plaza!
My folks tried to settle down all this transitory movement by sending me to boarding school in Scotland.
Luck & Love
Through all of this, I wore a bracelet on both wrists and a necklace from each one of my family – kinda like my own private supersonic force-field, one filled with love.
So you can see why I adore portable mementos of love, luck and happiness. And I love that moment between two people, the exchange that occurs when one person gives another a gift.
Which is what really drew me to study Jewellery and Silversmithing. I learnt all my technical skills at the amazing Glasgow School of Art.
I’ve been lucky enough to win loads of awards including the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and have worked for some cool people – Links of London, Dinny Hall, EcOne, Naomi Filmer and Hamilton and Inches – to name a few.
I love what I do, thank you for letting me be part of your story.
